In plain English
NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every living cell, where it's involved in energy production and DNA repair. Levels fall with age, which is why it's discussed in longevity circles. Human studies of NAD+ and its precursors are small and short, and benefits for healthy people haven't been shown. Research-labelled NAD+ sold online isn't approved for human use and isn't quality-checked. Talk to your GP about energy or ageing concerns.
