In plain English
MOTS-c is a short peptide coded in mitochondrial DNA. Researchers are interested in how it relates to metabolism, exercise and ageing, but nearly all the work so far is in cells and animals, with very little in people. It isn't approved as a medicine in Australia, and products sold online as research peptides aren't checked for quality. Big claims about it go well beyond the evidence.
